Shibari Books Heading to Warehouse!

Hello wonderful supporters… do you know what these are?

They are the very first printed, cut, bound and trimmed copies of More Shibari You Can Use over at our printers! I am so excited. We still have 4186 to go since this image was shot this morning (2000 of each plus 100 of each overages in case of damage in-house printing), but wow. It’s pretty amazing.

So, does that mean you will have these 8 copies in hand next week? Sadly, that’s not how it works. There are a lot of moving parts, but here is what it boils down to:

* On Christmas Day at 2pm, I am hopping a flight to Boston. I land the 27th, and start the book signing process. Signed books are expected to go out the first week of January.

* The distribution warehouse will have the books before Christmas, and hope to start sending unsigned books out the 2nd or 3rd week of January to pre-sales folks, but are hoping for earlier.

* We’re not sure about e-books, but are hoping that we’ll have them available to distribute to everyone who did pre-sales sometime around the New Year.

And now… a leak just for you:

As you heard, we have some overages. I have 40 or so sets of unsigned books that are available to go out for $65 (over Indiegogo price, extra shipping outside US) that will get to folks somewhere between 2-4 weeks pre-Amazon, and do not include the ebook copies y’all print folks are getting. What will we be using those funds for? Helping start setting aside funds for print run 2. If you have any friends who are interested, we need to know before Christmas, and these are on a first-come, first serve, basis. A signed set, unbound, can also be done for $110 with this pre-release plan, but bound sets will not be available. Those are for you early visionaries only.

Thank you all for your support, and let me know if you or friends are interested. I am announcing it larger net on Sunday or Monday, so you and your friends get a first chance before the masses. And if we sell out of these overages pre-sale pairs, we sell out.

Lots of love,

Lee Harrington
